The square metre says it better

A customer can rarely describe the work in hours, but they can say “a 25 m² living room” and send three photos. From there, a ballpark price is possible without driving out.

Traxo asks for the area, the number of rooms, the state of the walls and whether the place is lived in or empty. The customer gets a bracket, and the quoting visit is only used for the jobs that will actually go ahead.

Quiet weeks you can see and fill

A decorator's real problem isn't the emergency, it's the gap: two free days between two jobs that you only spot on Friday night. Once they have gone, they don't come back.

Your calendar shows those gaps in advance and can open them up to booking for one-day jobs. Enquiries come in through the website, floor areas and photos included, while you are on the roller, and you book in whatever fits.

Quote, deposit, then materials

The quote sets out areas, number of coats, preparation and materials. It is signed online, and the deposit lands before you order the paint — you are no longer buying the tins yourself.

On long jobs the payment is split: deposit, mid-job, balance at handover. The chasers go out on their own if a date passes.

Decorating is one of the few building trades where the before-and-after is dramatic and instantly obvious. Every finished job is proof, as long as it gets photographed and published.

The review request goes out two hours after the appointment, for example after the end-of-job visit. Your finished work feeds the website sorted by type of property: rental flat, house, commercial unit. That is how agents and landlords find you.
