Website design Kildare: prices and addresses
Three Kildare web firms print a price: €499 excl. VAT for a ten-page site in Athy, and €57.50 to €91.50 a month to look after one. With us it is €40 a month excl. VAT, with nothing to pay upfront.
Our prices From €40 a month excl. VAT on yearly billing, €50 if you pay monthly. No setup fee.
On 06/10/2026 we searched “website design kildare ireland”: the first ten results are ten web agencies' own pages. We looked up where each one is, and four of the ten are in County Kildare, in Athy and Naas. The others are in Navan, Cork, Swords, Co. Meath, or give no address at all. Of the four, one prints a price. So this page shows what we charge first, then what three Kildare firms publish, with their address and the day we read it.

Ireland Online
Address The Storehouse, Fortbarrington Road, Athy, Co. Kildare, R14 X866 (its privacy policy)

First in the results on 06/10/2026. Every package is labelled “New Business Special Offer”, and the page says “Note: All packages are excluding VAT.” All three websites include a “Calendly Integration (Booking)”; a “Full Booking System” and “Accept Payments via Website” are extra options on the bespoke site, with no price. No hosting or upkeep figure.

Irish Web Services
Address 29 Ashville, Athy, Co. Kildare (its contact page)
- “Monthly website maintenance plans (€60/month)”
Not in the first ten. The figure is in the firm's own guide to Kildare web designers, where it lists itself first. No build price, and the page does not say whether the €60 includes VAT.

The first ten are those of “website design kildare ireland”, read on 06/10/2026. We opened each page that day in a browser and copied the figures as they show. The addresses are the firms' own, and each registered name was checked against the Companies Registration Office's records the same day. ITM Digital (Millennium Park, Naas) and Graphedia (Sallins Road, Naas) rank in the first ten and are in the county, but print no price, and we found none in their clients' reviews; Ivan Corless, a freelance designer in Naas, prints none either. Meath Web Design (Navan), Grange Website Design (Cork), Flo Web Design (Co. Meath), it'seeze (Swords) and Craig Murray (no address) rank there from outside the county. Prices change: check them before you sign. Ours are on the pricing page.
Create my websiteYour account first, then your website, and only then the payment
You open your account online, with no meeting and no quote to wait for. Then you build the website yourself, with your services, prices, photos and opening hours: about ten minutes' work.
Then you choose a plan, pay online and put the website live in one click. If you don't pay, nothing goes online and nothing is billed.
From that day your clients can book an appointment day and night and pay when they book, the full price or a deposit. They get an e-mail reminder the day before and, on Pro, they collect points. See also how people find you on Google.
If you would like someone to go through it with you, book a free 15-minute launch call from your account. It is optional.
Create my websiteKildare in figures: 17,109 businesses, most of them small
County Kildare had 17,109 active enterprises in 2024, with 84,441 people engaged in them, and 15,878 of those enterprises had fewer than ten people, according to the CSO's Business Demography by size, table BRA30 (read on 06/10/2026). By sector (table BRA34), construction is the largest by far, with 4,014 enterprises, ahead of professional and technical services (2,381) and wholesale and retail (2,095).
The trades that live on appointments are smaller still. “Other personal service activities”, where the CSO counts hairdressers, barbers and beauty salons, has 833 enterprises in the county and 1,844 people between them: just over two each. Restaurants, cafés and pubs count 612 enterprises.
That is who a Kildare web agency is selling to: a business of two or three people, buying a website once and needing it to bring in calls and bookings. Of the four county firms in the first ten results, only Ireland Online in Athy says what that costs.
Create my websiteA barber in Newbridge, over three years
Say you run a two-chair barber's on Main Street in Newbridge and want clients to pick a time without ringing. Here are the sums with what Kildare firms publish on 06/10/2026, all excluding VAT.
Ireland Online builds a ten-page Brochure Website for €499 (its Kildare packages), with a Calendly booking link included. It prints no hosting or upkeep price. The two Kildare firms that print an upkeep price charge €60 a month at Irish Web Services, so 36 × 60 = €2,160 over three years, or €1,098 a year for WordPress at KPH Media (20 hours of work). No Kildare firm prints a build and an upkeep plan together, so these are two bills from two firms, before hosting and Calendly's own plan, which no page prices.
With us it is €40 a month billed yearly: 36 × 40 = €1,440 over three years, with no setup fee, and booking and payment at booking included. Add 3% of what clients pay online: if 40 clients a month leave a €10 deposit, that is €400, so €12 a month, €432 over three years.
The honest result. If you only need a site that says who you are and how to ring you, and you never change it, €499 once at Ireland Online is cheaper than us by a distance. Three years of Irish Web Services' €60 plan alone, €2,160, come to more than our €1,440 with the €432 of fees added. Our yearly plan is paid upfront (€480 a year), and if you stop, the website goes offline. It makes sense if you want the calendar, payment at booking and each client's record in one place. Prices on our pricing page.
Create my websiteThe Chamber in Naas, and what the Local Enterprise Office funds today
County Kildare Chamber is on the Sallins Road in Naas Town Centre (W91 KV4H) and says it represents “an employer base of 400 businesses and over 38,000 employees”. Its membership page invites you to its “weekly networking mornings in Naas (7.30am every Wednesday in the Chamber offices)”, with monthly events elsewhere in the county. It does not publish its membership fee: ask for it in writing.
The Local Enterprise Office Kildare, in Naas (045 980838), is where website grants are decided. On 06/10/2026 its list of supports no longer included the Trading Online Voucher that some agencies still mention. The one that touches a website is the Grow Digital Voucher: 50% of eligible costs, “minimum grant aid of €500 up to a maximum grant of €5,000”, for businesses with between 1 and 50 paid employees, trading for at least six months, that have “completed a Digital for Business Project within the previous two years”.
Read what it pays for before you plan around it. It funds “off the shelf” software subscriptions new to the business, for one year at most, and “The Grow Digital Voucher does not support bespoke website development”. You apply before spending anything, and “the business must incur the annual subscription cost before the grant can be paid”. As an off-the-shelf subscription, Traxo may qualify; check with LEO Kildare before you buy, because the application has to go in before you spend anything. The office decides what qualifies, not your supplier.
Create my websiteWhat people who had a website built say
Business is running smoothly, people booking there appointments no more Que's in the rain it's amazing.
Also I would be very cautious of going for a "Website for €99" offer or monthly subscription packages, as they can often seem very generic or home made.
Frequently asked questions
How much does website design cost in Kildare?
At Ireland Online in Athy, €299 for one page, €499 for a ten-page site and from €1,999 for a bespoke one, all excl. VAT and labelled “New Business Special Offer”. Upkeep is €60 a month at Irish Web Services (Athy) and €1,098 a year for WordPress at KPH Media (Rathangan). All read on 06/10/2026. With us it is €40 a month excl. VAT on yearly billing, with no setup fee; see our pricing page.
Does Traxo have an office in Kildare?
No. We have no office in Kildare and we work remotely; the launch call, if you want one, is remote too. If you would rather sit across a desk from someone, the Kildare firms above give their address. Four of the first ten results for “website design kildare ireland” are in the county.
Do Kildare web designers charge VAT?
Ireland Online says “All packages are excluding VAT” and KPH Media “Prices are ex VAT”, so add 23%: €499 becomes €613.77. Irish Web Services does not say. A provider below Revenue's €42,500 threshold for services need not register (Revenue), and then adds none. Our prices exclude VAT.
Is there a grant for a website in Kildare?
Not the Trading Online Voucher any more: on 06/10/2026 it was no longer on LEO Kildare's list. The Grow Digital Voucher pays 50% of eligible costs, €500 to €5,000, for off-the-shelf software subscriptions new to the business, not for bespoke website development, and only after a Digital for Business project. As an off-the-shelf subscription, Traxo may qualify: check with LEO Kildare in Naas before you buy, and before you spend anything.
Who owns the website and the domain?
With an agency it depends on the contract: ask whose name the domain is registered in and what you take with you if you leave. With us, the website and the domain stop with the subscription, and your client records come back to you on request within 30 days, then are deleted.
