Traxo vs Booksy: Irish prices side by side
In Ireland, Booksy charges a flat fee and no commission on new clients, and puts you on its marketplace; Traxo costs a little less a month, gives you your own website, and brings no one.
Booksy is a booking app with a consumer marketplace. Its Irish grid is not the US one most articles quote: on the Irish pricing page there is a monthly fee per business and per extra user, a fee on payments taken in the app, and no commission on new clients.

Who Booksy is right for
- You want a marketplace with no commission on the clients it sends. In Ireland, that is exactly Booksy's offer; Traxo sends you no one.
- You want to try before you commit. Booksy's Irish plan has a 7-day free trial with no card, and you can cancel anytime.
Who Traxo is right for
- You want a website in your own name, not a profile in someone else's app. With Traxo the website is the product, with booking, payment in full or as a deposit, the day-before reminder and a loyalty programme in it.
- You are a team of up to six. Traxo Pro gives each person a diary and an account, from €80 a month excl. VAT billed yearly.
- You are not a salon. Traxo works the same for plumbers, restaurants and garages.
What Traxo doesn't do
- No marketplace and no consumer app: Traxo brings you no new clients on its own.
- No card terminal and no point of sale.
- No gift cards on Starter: they are in the Pro plan.
What the people who use it say
The price point is higher than similar salon booking software, customer service isn't as responsive as I wish they were

Yes, if Booksy's marketplace brings you clients and you also want your own site. Just make sure the same slot can't be sold twice, once in each diary.
